Hatstand Summer 2010

With the release of Tickletumm and the launch of Tickletumm.com we're looking ahead to our next development.
After much debate we are producing Animal Alphabet as our next App for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and a flash version for tickletumm.com at the same time.

The Animal Alphabet App will be available as a free Lite version and a full paid version with all the extra content and animal theme sets: Jungle and Farm already unlocked.

Lullabai, the musical nightlight for your iPhone, is still firmly on the development schedule and production will begin as soon as Animal Alphabet is ready for Apple Approval.

We're still looking for a 3D modeler for our fourth release which involves robots and player vs. player action.

We've welcomed a few new faces to the forum. I hope they enjoy being part of the birth of a new community and having a chance to be a part of the development of Hatstand titles, everyone has something to offer even if that's just a passion for games and gaming.

The frontpage has seen another small overhaul. I guess it's easy to see imperfections in your own work and it's hard to pass up the chance for improvement even if that happens in small steps.

We're all looking forward to a long hot compelling and packed summer. Hatstand Gaming will be attending the GDC Europe in August, it will be our first convention and we will be there to observe and learn meet and greet, if you're coming along and would like to hook up - drop us a line we'd love to see you!

Wild Alphabet released

The renamed Wild Alphabet went live on the App store this week. The Lite version will be following shortly if you would like to try before you buy!

Let the most fun, wild and interactive Alphabet App teach your children letters and words using sound and humour.

With multiple animals for many letters your child can learn not only the names and phonetic sounds for all the letters but also view their relation to the rest of the alphabet.

Using bright colours, playful artwork and tailor made sounds Wild Alphabet is sure to entertain and educate in equal measure.

Wild Alphabet comes with the extra theme sets of Farm and Jungle already unlocked and added to the 'classic' 26 animal set with all new images and sounds.

Hatstand Winter 2010

There have been a few changes at Hatstand over the autumn and as we move towards the close of 2010 we're deciding which development will be our next, Sarah has moved back to the UK and has started work on the Aura Project, which is being produced under the Hatstand Umbrella. Darren is itching to make a start on our next in house development.

We have a bunch of concepts on the table and we're hoping to be moving into true 'game' creation and moving away a little from the child focused Apps we've produced so far. We will still be growing Tickletumm.com and adding to that site, so if you've got a childrens book you would like to publish on the site or a kiddies flash game, get in touch! We are also happy to receive any children’s pictures for showcasing in the tickletumm gallery.

Hatstand Gaming is a new game company committed to keeping gaming fun, if it's five minutes entertainment on the train or a long term immersive game experience, we will be creating to satisfy a broad range of tastes and flavours.

Our long term development is directed towards the MMORPG Morphus set in a surreal fantasy world initial release scheduled for 2015.
